Kaduna governor visits freed church worshippers after abduction
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani visited church worshippers who were recently released after being held captive by bandits in Kurmin Wali village, Kajuru Local Government Area. The victims, who were abducted during a church service, are currently receiving medical and psychosocial support at a shelter in Kaduna. The coordinated attack saw armed men invade churches, instilling fear and kidnapping worshippers. The Village Head of Kurmin Wali, Ishaku Dan’azumi, confirmed their release in a telephone interview.
