
UK boarding schools seek Nigerian students at Abuja and Lagos events
Nigerian families have the chance to meet representatives from top UK boarding schools and learn about academic and extracurricular opportunities. The exhibitions are organised by Mark Brooks Education, whose founder, Mark Brooks, has advised Nigerian families for over 17 years. School leaders highlighted the strong relationship between UK schools and Nigerian families, with many praising the ambition and achievements of Nigerian students. Attendance at these exhibitions is free, with advance registration recommended.

- Leading British boarding schools will visit Abuja and Lagos in March for UK Boarding Schools Week 2026, giving families insight into UK education.
- The Abuja exhibition will be held at the Transcorp Hilton on Wednesday, March 4, and the Lagos event at The George Hotel, Ikoyi, on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
- Some schools will also host pre-booked appointments and a smaller exhibition on Sunday, March 8.
- Mark Brooks, a UK Department for Business and Trade Export Champion, is organising the events and has advised Nigerian families for over 17 years.
- Participating schools include Bromsgrove School, Canford School, Cardiff Sixth Form College, Dean Close School, Downside School, Lancing College, Milton Abbey School, Stamford School, and Wellington School.
