
Nursing mother and children abducted by gunmen in Edo
A group of gunmen abducted several family members, including a nursing mother and children, in Edo State. The incident took place at Eko-Abeku-Iyowa road within the Evboneka community. Festus Bamidele, the head of the family, confirmed that some victims were released or rescued, but others remain in captivity. The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N260 million.
