Pope Leo XIV honors Enugu philanthropist for church project
Pope Leo XIV has given a special apostolic blessing to philanthropist SteveMary Kanife for building a Catholic church in the Ezeagu area of Enugu State. The blessing was presented by Most Rev. Callistus Onaga during the dedication of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ugwetiti, Amansiodo-Oghe. The event included the confirmation of 74 parishioners and the distribution of empowerment items to beneficiaries. Kanife shared that his inspiration for the project came after a vision during the dedication of his triplets and a thanksgiving ceremony in his village.
