Ten trafficked children reunited with families in Taraba
Ten children who were victims of trafficking have been reunited with their families by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons in collaboration with the Taraba State Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development. The children were rescued after being intercepted at Kurmi Motor Park in Jalingo. Bako Amos, the Taraba State Commander of NAPTIP, confirmed the handover and emphasized the agency’s commitment to protecting minors. Mary Sinjen and Eric Juyo from the ministry were present to receive the children and assess their needs.

- The children were rescued on January 31, 2026, after a suspected trafficker was intercepted in Jalingo.
