Basketball Africa League reveals schedule for sixth season
The Basketball Africa League (BAL) has announced details for its upcoming sixth season. The league will feature 12 top club teams from 12 African countries, with games played in South Africa, Morocco, and Rwanda. BAL President Amadou Gallo Fall and FIBA Africa President Anibal Manave highlighted the league’s growing impact and commitment to basketball development across the continent. The season will also include cultural events and collaborations with partners to promote social impact initiatives.

- The sixth BAL season will tip off on March 27 at SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa, and conclude with the 2026 BAL Finals on May 31 at BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.
- The Kalahari Conference group phase will run from March 27 to April 5 in Pretoria, while the Sahara Conference group phase will take place from April 24 to May 3 in Rabat, Morocco.
- Eight teams will qualify for the play-offs in Kigali from May 22 to 31.
