
Police repel attack and kill four suspected bandits in Benue
The Benue State Police Command has confirmed that four suspected bandits were killed during a security operation in Orokam, Ogbadibo Local Government Area. According to spokesperson Udeme Edet, the incident occurred during a routine stop-and-search operation by the Operation Zenda Joint Task Force. The suspects allegedly opened fire on the police, leading to a gun duel. Commissioner of Police Ifeanyi Emenari praised the officers for their bravery and urged the public to support security agencies.
