World Bank commends Ogun State’s primary healthcare improvements
The World Bank has praised the Ogun State Government for its ongoing investment in primary healthcare. Galina Vincelette, World Bank Vice President for Operations Policy and Country Services, highlighted the importance of these efforts during a visit to Makun Primary Healthcare Centre. The Makun PHC is among 75 facilities upgraded under the World Bank’s IMPACT project. Ogun State officials emphasized the role of infrastructure, staff welfare, and community involvement in sustaining healthcare progress.
