
Suspected fraudster faces court over alleged $7,000 scam
A suspected Internet fraudster, Samson Onaolapo, has been arraigned before the Federal High Court in Lagos for allegedly defrauding victims of $7,000 through a romance scam. The police accused Onaolapo of impersonating an American citizen and obtaining money under false pretence. He pleaded not guilty to all charges. Justice Alexander Owoeye presided over the case.
