Major rehabilitation underway for Benin-Asaba highway
The Benin-Asaba highway is undergoing significant rehabilitation to enhance connectivity between Edo and Delta states. The project was officially flagged off by President Bola Tinubu in March 2025. The highway, spanning approximately 125 kilometres, will feature major upgrades and improved traffic flow. Funding is provided through a concession with the Benin-Asaba Expressway Concession Company Limited – Africa Plus Partners (Nigeria) Limited Consortium.
