
Elderly man saved after falling into deep Lagos well
An 84-year-old man was rescued by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service after falling into a deep well in the Aboru area. Margaret Adeseye, the Controller-General, said the incident happened at No. 35A, Fadeyemi Street, Pipeline, Aboru. The rescue team responded quickly after receiving a distress call and managed to pull the man out alive. The circumstances of the fall are under investigation, and the man is now with his family for medical care.
