Soldiers ambush and kill two suspected bandits in Benue
Troops from Operation Whirl Stroke have neutralised two suspected armed bandits during an ambush in Benue State. The operation was carried out by the COAS Special Intervention Battalion IX along the Naka–Ahume–Makurdi Road. Major General Moses Gara praised the troops for their professionalism and intelligence-led approach. The military says patrols will continue to enhance security in the area.
