Young footballers shine in Ajegunle U-14 league kickoff
The Nathaniel Idowu Foundation U-14 Football League has brought new energy to Ajegunle as it kicked off at the Nathaniel Idowu Pitch. The opening weekend saw 21 goals scored across six matches, with teams like Fortune FC and Strong Dove FC making strong statements. The league, organised by the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council and supported by the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation, features 12 teams from Lagos State. McAnthony Anaelechukwu praised the initiative for promoting grassroots football and youth empowerment.

- Other results included a 1–1 draw between Michael May FC and Ajegunle United, Pure Talents FC’s 2–0 win over Coal City FC, Bright Future FC’s 2–1 victory against Moree Wins FC, and Sharp Talent FC’s 2–0 win over Young 11 FC.
- The league will run for 11 weeks, with the top four teams advancing to a Super 4 playoff.
