RMAFC urges states to join oil well dispute resolution
The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission has called on oil-producing states to actively participate in resolving disputes over oil and gas wells. Mohammed Shehu, chairman of the commission, emphasized the importance of state cooperation for a fair outcome. The process involves plotting verified coordinates of disputed and newly drilled wells, with multiple agencies working together. Dr Khadija Kumo described the exercise as the most comprehensive verification ever conducted by the commission.
