Soldiers rescue kidnapped Cameroonians as militants surrender in Cross River
Troops of Operation UDO KA have rescued eight Cameroonian nationals abducted by sea pirates in Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State. The Defence Headquarters also reported that about 80 militants surrendered to the military in Akpabuyo Local Government Area. The militants, linked to camps led by Thankgod Ebikontei (aka Ayibanuagha) and John Isaac (aka Akpokolo), handed over arms and ammunition. Maj. Gen.
