Nigerian Army launches new training to boost counter-terrorism skills
The Nigerian Army Training Centre has started Exercise FAST BOLT IV (double stream) at the Kontagora Military Cantonment Parade Ground. The programme, which began on January 19 and will run until May 8, 2026, is designed to strengthen troops’ ability to address security threats nationwide. Major General A.G.L. Haruna highlighted the importance of the training in preparing personnel for modern challenges like terrorism and insurgency. The exercise will focus on both operational skills and ethical standards.
