Veteran journalists launch retraining initiative in Osun
Veteran journalists in Osun State are set to retrain journalism practitioners across the state and beyond. The initiative, led by the Veteran Journalists Association, aims to raise professional standards and combat declining practices in the industry. Sanya Fadipe, the association’s Public Relations Officer, highlighted the focus on mentoring both upcoming and practising journalists. The association recently secured legal recognition, which members believe will further strengthen their role in developing journalism in Nigeria.
