Over one million displaced families return to Borno communities
Over one million households displaced by insurgency have been resettled in their ancestral communities in Borno State, according to the military. Major General Abdulsalami Abubakar, Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, revealed this during a media briefing in Maiduguri. The resettlement has restored livelihoods and economic activities in previously abandoned areas. The military credits ongoing stabilisation operations and collaboration with the Borno State Government for these achievements.
