NEMA delivers relief to thousands of displaced persons
The National Emergency Management Agency has carried out 87 relief interventions for 17,000 people displaced by disasters. Mr Sani Lokoja, the North-West Zonal Director of NEMA, shared these details in an interview about the agency’s activities in the region. Displaced persons were affected by incidents such as banditry, flooding, storms, fires, and communal clashes. The agency worked with local stakeholders to provide emergency support and stabilize communities.
