
Lagos government impounds 70 motorcycles on restricted routes
The Lagos State Government has confiscated 70 commercial motorcycles during an enforcement operation targeting restricted routes on the Island axis. The Ministry of Transportation, led by Oluwaseun Osiyemi, stated that the operation began at about 9:30am and covered several major locations. The enforcement aimed to uphold the highway ban on commercial motorcycles and other activities disrupting public safety. Authorities emphasized that all seized motorcycles will be forfeited to the state through the courts.
