Lagos taskforce seizes 134 okadas on restricted routes
The Lagos State Taskforce has impounded 134 commercial motorcycles, commonly known as okadas, during enforcement operations across several parts of the state. According to the agency’s spokesperson, Raheem Gbadeyan, the exercise targeted operators flouting traffic and security regulations. Multiple strategic locations, including Lagos Island and the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, were affected. The task force stated that all confiscated motorcycles will be processed and forfeited to the state through the courts.
