Church leader urges government to use tax revenue for public good
The Spiritual Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Agbojesu Conference Worldwide, Samuel Akintobi, has appealed to the Federal Government to ensure that funds from the new tax system benefit ordinary Nigerians. He emphasized the need for transparency and purposeful use of tax proceeds to address concerns about the impact of recent tax reforms. Hezekiah Adeleke, chairman of the church, also highlighted the importance of building a comprehensive database for church members. Both leaders spoke during the church’s Annual General Conference in Iseyin, Oyo State.
