The accusations, which circulated online, claimed that over 400 nurses were asked to pay between ₦5,000 and ₦10,000 each. In a statement, the LUTH Nurses’ Executive, represented by Deborah Martins-Akinlose, insisted that all contributions were voluntary and transparent. They emphasized that no nurse was coerced or threatened to participate.
