Kaduna expands life skills programme for girls in schools
Governor Uba Sani is set to institutionalise a life skills education programme across public secondary schools in Kaduna State. The initiative has already benefited over 40,000 adolescent girls and aims to equip students with practical skills beyond academics. According to the State Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Maiyaki, an Executive Bill will soon be sent to the Kaduna State House of Assembly to make the programme compulsory. The project is supported by the World Bank and involves trained teachers acting as mentors.
