Borno health agency commended for digital healthcare upgrade
Prof. Muhammed Gana, the Borno Commissioner for Health, has praised the Borno State Contributory Health Care Management Agency for its efforts in transforming healthcare delivery through the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR). After inspecting five digital-enabled BOSCHMA facilities in Maiduguri, Gana highlighted improvements in service quality and infrastructure. He also acknowledged the state's investments in digital health systems and thanked Gov. Babagana Zulum for supporting the formal sector’s integration into the contributory healthcare scheme. Mr Saleh Zaka, BOSCHMA’s Executive Secretary, emphasized the benefits of the EMR platform for staff, patients, and researchers.
