Dispatch rider jailed for tramadol trafficking in Lagos
A dispatch rider, Yahaya Nuru, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for distributing tramadol and other banned drugs. Justice Musa Kakaki of the Federal High Court in Lagos delivered the judgment after Nuru pleaded guilty to the charges brought by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. The court heard that Nuru was caught with large quantities of controlled substances intended for distribution. He was also given the option to pay fines for each count.
