Police rescue 33 girls from trafficking syndicate in Anambra
Three dozen underage girls have been rescued by the Anambra State Police Command after dismantling a child trafficking syndicate in Awkuzu. According to SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the operation was part of an ongoing investigation into kidnapping and child trafficking cases. The raid led to the arrest of a female suspect and the rescue of three girls abducted in Ebonyi State on September 26, 2025.
