
Two Gombe lawmakers leave PDP for APC
Two lawmakers from the Gombe State House of Assembly have switched allegiance from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress. Gabriel Fushison and Malon Nimrod-Yari were formally welcomed into the APC by Governor Inuwa Yahaya. The lawmakers cited the governor’s leadership and inclusive governance as reasons for their defection. Their move further strengthens the APC’s dominance in the state assembly.
