Lagos task force detains 32 for highway disturbances
The Lagos State Taskforce has apprehended 32 individuals accused of causing disruptions and obstructing traffic on major highways. According to spokesperson Raheem Gbadeyan, the arrests followed a coordinated operation targeting areas with frequent complaints from residents. The suspects, known locally as Omotaku, were detained for various offenses, including violating state laws. CSP Adetayo Akerele, the Taskforce Chairman, emphasized the agency's commitment to maintaining order in Lagos.
