Troops from the 12 Brigade of the Nigerian Army have killed three bandits and arrested a suspected logistics supplier during operations in Kabba Bunu and Yagba West Local Government Areas of Kogi State. The operations were carried out on January 3, 2026, following credible intelligence about bandit movements. According to Lt. Hassan Abdullahi, the troops set up an ambush and engaged the bandits, resulting in casualties and the recovery of weapons. The arrested suspect, Sunday Adedotun, is currently in custody and under investigation.
