Millions vaccinated as Nigeria expands immunisation efforts
Prof. Muhammad Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, announced that the Federal Government has administered millions of vaccines to Nigerians, targeting diseases such as measles, yellow fever, and malaria. He highlighted the significant progress in immunisation coverage and preventive healthcare across the country. The minister also noted the introduction of the first-ever malaria vaccine and the rollout of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination programme.
