NAMA reassures travellers of air safety during harmattan haze
The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has addressed concerns about flight safety during the harmattan haze. In a statement, spokesperson Dr Abdullahi Musa emphasised that airspace and airport landing facilities remain safe and operational. Musa highlighted that all navigational aids are routinely maintained and calibrated in line with international standards. He clarified that weather, not equipment failure, is the main cause of flight disruptions during this period.
