Powerful earthquake rattles Mexico City and Guerrero
A strong 6.5-magnitude earthquake shook Mexico City and parts of Guerrero state, causing evacuations and widespread alarm. President Claudia Sheinbaum and journalists briefly left the presidential palace when the quake alert sounded but returned shortly after.
