Gombe approves N35bn for roads and infrastructure projects
The Gombe State Executive Council has approved over N35 billion for new road construction and infrastructure upgrades across the state. The meeting, presided over by Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, focused on improving access and connectivity in both urban and developing areas. Maijama’a Kallamu, the Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport, announced the projects, which include new roads, upgrades to the airport, and enhancements to public facilities. The council aims to boost development and modernise key infrastructure in Gombe State.
