
Lagos opens new mini football pitch at Sura under bridge
The Lagos State Government has partnered with TECNO to unveil the Sanwo-Olu Mini Stadium, an eight-a-side astroturf football pitch at Sura under bridge on Lagos Island. The project is part of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s efforts to boost youth engagement and sports development in the state. Officials highlighted the importance of public–private collaboration in providing modern sports infrastructure for young people. The facility aims to nurture local talent and transform underused urban spaces into vibrant community hubs.
