Thousands leave T2 network despite rebrand efforts
About 2,725 mobile subscribers left T2 between August and October 2025, even after the network’s rebrand from 9mobile. The latest data from the Nigerian Communications Commission shows that more customers are leaving T2 than joining. The rebrand, part of a broader recovery plan after the 2023 acquisition by Lighthouse Telecoms led by Thomas Etuh, has not slowed the outflow. Industry figures highlight ongoing customer dissatisfaction with T2’s services.
