Sixty-two artisans complete ITF-NECA technical skills programme
Dr Afiz Ogun, Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), announced the graduation of 62 trainees from the ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Project at the Industrial Skills Training Centre, Ikeja, Lagos. The initiative, run in partnership with the Nigerian Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), aims to equip Nigerian youths with industry-relevant skills. Akeem Salimonu, Training Manager of ISTC, highlighted the programme's impact in bridging the skills gap and supporting industrial growth. Graduates received training in fields such as automobile mechanics, welding, ICT, and more.
