
Akpabio gives fishing boats to Akwa Ibom women groups
Godswill Akpabio, President of the Senate, has donated 10 outboard engine fishing boats to women and cooperative groups in Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District. The boats were presented at his country home in Ukana, Essien Udim Local Government Area. The initiative aims to empower women from riverine communities, where fishing is a key livelihood. The event featured appreciation from Dr (Mrs) Ekaette Akpabio and other local leaders.
