Lagos commissioner urges more grassroots dialogue for peace
Mobolaji Ogunlende, Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, has emphasized the importance of engaging with youths, elders, and community stakeholders to strengthen grassroots governance. Speaking at the Cook for Peace Festival 2.0 in Orile–Iganmu, he highlighted the need for continuous dialogue to address social challenges and promote peaceful coexistence. The event, organized by Associates of Change Africa, featured activities aimed at fostering unity and supporting youth inclusion. Other officials, including CSP Taofeek Bello and Kwame Ahmed, also stressed the critical role of peace in achieving development.
