
Speeding trailer causes deadly bus accident in Gombe
At least nine people lost their lives and five were injured when a trailer crashed into a bus on the Kaltungo–Cham Road in Gombe State. The accident happened around 8:33 am on June 5, 2025, in the Kaluwa community. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps Sector Commander, Samson Kaura, excessive speed and brake failure led to the crash. The victims were taken to the General Hospital in Kaltungo for treatment.
