TCN faces vandalism but hits new electricity transmission record
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) reported 131 cases of infrastructure vandalism in 2025, even as it set new records in electricity transmission. Sule Abdulaziz, TCN’s Managing Director, praised staff and stakeholders for their resilience during a challenging year. Despite persistent threats, TCN achieved its highest-ever daily energy delivery and advanced several major projects. The company also credited support from Bola Tinubu and sector partners for these milestones in 2025.
