Troops foil bomb plot and arrest Boko Haram logistics suspects in Borno
Nigerian troops have discovered and neutralised an improvised explosive device (IED) along the Damboa–Komala road in Borno State. In separate operations between December 17 and 19, 2025, soldiers also arrested two men suspected of supplying logistics to Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists. The suspects were intercepted with food items and energy drinks believed to be intended for insurgents. The military says these actions are part of ongoing efforts to secure the North East.
