
NDLEA arrests 150 in Adamawa, seizes over a ton of drugs
In a major operation, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has confiscated 1,396.5 kg of narcotics and arrested 150 suspects in Adamawa during December 2025. The agency’s commander, Aliyu Abubakar, highlighted the success at a news conference themed “Expose a Drug Dealer Today: Save the Future of Adamawa Youth” on December 5, 2025. The crackdown included the seizure of cannabis, Tramadol, and other opioids, as well as vehicles linked to drug offences. Abubakar credited the achievements to the leadership of Mohamed Marwa and support from state officials.
