Police rescue kidnap victim and kill suspects in Rivers State
Police operatives in Rivers State have rescued a kidnapped woman and neutralised two suspected kidnappers following a gun battle. The incident occurred along Ozuaha Road in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area. According to spokesperson Grace Iringe-Koko, the operation took place after the suspects were found sharing ransom money on December 9, 2025. The police recovered weapons and part of the ransom, while some suspects escaped with injuries.
