
Three arrested for illegal waste dumping on Lagos road
Three people were arrested for dumping refuse on the median of Ikotun–Igando Road in Lagos. Tokunbo Wahab, the state Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, confirmed the arrests on June 5, 2025. The operation was carried out by the Lagos Waste Management Authority’s surveillance team as part of ongoing efforts to keep the city clean.
