Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has had his salary paid by the National Sports Commission, according to NSC chairman Shehu Dikko. The NSC has been covering his wages on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation, even though they are not part of his contract. Chelle was reportedly owed three months’ salary and bonuses ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, but officials say he will be paid soon.
