
Professor Gbenga Ibileye named new Vice-Chancellor at Federal University Lokoja
The Federal University, Lokoja, has appointed Professor Gbenga Ibileye as its new Vice-Chancellor. The announcement was made by Professor Zubairu Abdullahi on June 5, 2025. Professor Ibileye succeeds Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, whose term ends in February 2026. The new VC brings a wealth of academic and leadership experience to the role.
