ICPC reports major cash recoveries and progress in 2025
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) announced significant recoveries of N37.4bn and $2.35m in 2025. The agency’s chairman, Musa Aliyu (SAN), highlighted these achievements during the commission’s annual end-of-year event on June 5, 2025. The ICPC also exceeded its targets for investigations and court cases, while improving its conviction rate. The commission credited its success to a combination of enforcement, prevention, and public education efforts.
