Lagos royal family urges action on delayed Oloja of Lagos installation
Members of the Akinsanya Olojo-Kosoko ruling house have called on the Lagos State Government to intervene in the prolonged delay of confirming the Oba-Elect for the Oloja of Lagos stool. The position has been vacant since the death of Chief Adebola Idris Disu Ige over seven years ago. In a letter dated December 8, the family stressed that all traditional and legal requirements have been met for the installation of their chosen candidate, Abiola Kosoko. They appealed for dialogue and resolution to uphold tradition and succession rules.
