Ogun students urge Abiodun to fulfil cash promise to late top graduate
The National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) has called on Governor Dapo Abiodun to honour his ₦2.5 million pledge to the late Samuel Orisawayi, the best graduating student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic for the 2022/2023 session. The pledge was made about six months ago during the institution’s convocation, but Orisawayi passed away last week without receiving the reward. NAOSS is appealing for the funds to be given to Orisawayi’s family to help ease their loss. The association also praised Bola Tinubu for his efforts in education and security as of June 5, 2025.
